Duty Manager – St Albans - c£22k
I am recruiting for a fantastic leisure job in St Albans for a leading leisure operator in the Health & Fitness sector. This is an incredibly exciting Leisure Management business. I am looking for a Duty Manager. This is a leisure job not to be missed, especially for those of you who are budding future Operations Managers.
As a Duty Manager you will be responsible for the running of the facility and this includes opening and closing the site, you will be directly responsible for the front line team.
This is a large multi faceted site with tennis courts and a golf course so a real opportunity for someone with aspirations of being a future Operations Manager.
The site in St Albans has a great reputation in the local area and has some amazing facilities including a gym, tennis courts, a bowling green as well as a golf course and squash courts.
As a Duty Manager you will very much be the face of the business. The successful candidate will have operational experience within the Leisure and potentially Hospitality sectors including Health & Safety processes and procedures. You will have a proven background in managing the Operations in a large scale Leisure Centre and have a natural ability to lead and inspire a large staff team.
You will be driven by delivering an amazing experience to the members in an environment where no 2 days are the same. You need to have a hands-on, can-do attitude with excellent communication skills. Not only will you be taking ownership of the operations of the facility you will also be responsible for leading and developing your own team.

Shift Pattern: Opening and closing of the facility and you will be required to work every other weekend. Hours of work are from 6am – 9:30pm
