I am recruiting for one of the most beautiful health clubs in the Hove area. This independently owned facility has got a great reputation with members and in the local area and are now looking for a General Manager to lead the business. This is a fitness job not to be missed!

My client is an independent health club based in Hove area. The health club is one of the most impressive in the area and it isn't like any other health club you would have seen! The owners have a vision of improving the overall health of their members (rather than simply the physical) and this is evident in their approach and services they provide.
About the Job
As a General manager, you will very much be the face of the business. The successful candidate will have to strike the fine balance between leading and managing an enthusiastic team who are super keen to provide their members with the best service. You will also be expected to mutli-task and manage several departments including: Gym floor, Spa, Cafe and the lounger area.
The role will involve you working very closely with the owners who want their general manager to help shape future strategy about the business (and new openings)
We are extremely keen to speak to candidates who has management experience in the fitness, leisure and hospitality sectors. You will be an enthusiastic leader, commercially astute and a focused customer service individual with excellent knowledge of sales and marketing processes, and strategy. You will have a track record working in premium innovative environments and have a real passion for service. You will have experience of catering for a high-end client base in a boutique environment
We are looking to speak to candidates who have worked in job roles including: assistant managers, operations manager, club manager, general manager, Leisure club managers and many more.
