I am recruiting for a fantastic leisure job in Essex for a leading leisure operator in the Health & Fitness sector. This is an incredibly exciting Leisure Management business. I am looking for a General Manager. This is a leisure job not to be missed.

As a General Manager you will very much be the face of the business. The successful candidate will have operational experience within the Leisure and potentially Hospitality sectors. You will be an enthusiastic leader, commercially astute and a focused customer service individual with excellent knowledge of sales and marketing processes, and strategy.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the leisure centre, you will be responsible for ensuring facilities are open, clean and safe, equipment is working safely, and that service and standards are impeccable. Equally an important part of your role will be to maintain and develop the programme of activities at the Centre by working collaboratively with clubs, coaches, community groups to utilise all space.

You will be driven by delivering an amazing experience to the members in an environment where no 2 days are the same. You need to have a hands-on, can-do attitude with excellent communication skills.

The site is popular within the local community, with a large swim school, outdoor sports pitches, as well as a 55 station gym and studios. The perfect candidate will have experience in a wet lead operation.
