Our client is a premium health and fitness club in Canberra, the kind of operator that has built its reputation on service standards rather than discounting. They're looking for an experienced Sales Manager to relocate from the UK, arrive on a Working Holiday Visa, and step into a senior role from day one.

Working pattern: Full time, 38 hours per week, with some evening and weekend cover in line with club trading hours.

Key responsibilities:

• Sales leadership: Leading and developing the membership sales team, setting the standard on the floor rather than from behind a desk.

• Targets: Owning monthly sales and retention targets, and reporting performance clearly to the club leadership team.

• Partnerships: Building community and corporate partnerships across Canberra to drive a steady pipeline of new members.

• Conversion: Managing inbound enquiries end to end, from first contact through tour to sign-up.

• Coaching: Running regular one to ones, role plays and pipeline reviews to lift individual performance.

• Member experience: Delivering an excellent onboarding journey so new members stay beyond their first ninety days.

About you:

• Visa eligibility: You hold a valid Australian Working Holiday Visa or are eligible to apply for one, which is essential and non-negotiable for this role.

• Sales background: You are currently a Sales Manager, Assistant Manager or a top-performing Membership Consultant ready to step up.
