Club Manager – Premium Health & Wellness Club

We are delighted to be recruiting a Club Manager for a stunning, independent health and wellness club in Maidstone.

Combining premium fitness facilities, wellness, relaxation and exceptional member experiences, this is far more than your traditional gym. It's a destination where health, wellbeing and community come together.

We are looking for an engaging, commercially driven and people-focused Club Manager who understands the fitness industry, loves building strong teams and is passionate about creating an exceptional club experience.

The Role

As Club Manager, you'll be at the heart of the club, overseeing its operational and commercial performance while ensuring members receive an outstanding experience every time they visit.

You'll lead two Team Managers, one focused on Club Operations and the other on the Customer and Member Journey, giving you the support to focus on the bigger picture while remaining visible and hands-on.

You'll be responsible for:

• Leading, inspiring and developing a high-performing team, creating a positive and engaging club culture.

• Driving membership sales, retention and overall commercial performance.

• Delivering exceptional member experiences and building a thriving club community.

• Maintaining outstanding standards across fitness facilities, wellness spaces and all areas of the club.

• Identifying opportunities to grow revenue, improve engagement and enhance the member journey.

• Being a visible, approachable leader who builds genuine relationships with members and colleagues.

About You

We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of the fitness and health club industry, combined with the service standards you'd expect from a premium members' club.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Proven management experience within a health club, fitness or premium wellness environment.

• A strong commercial track record, particularly in membership sales, retention and revenue growth.

• Experience leading managers and developing successful teams.

• A passion for fitness, health and wellbeing, with a good understanding of what makes a great club experience.

• Exceptional customer service skills and an appreciation of premium hospitality standards.

• A proactive, organised and resourceful approach, with the confidence to take ownership and make things happen.

Above all, you'll be a natural people person who loves being on the club floor, engaging with members and motivating your team.
