Duty Manager in Repton - Fantastic Sports & Fitness Centre

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours (rota including evenings, weekends & bank holidays)
Base salary of up to: £29,355

We’re looking for an energetic and customer-focused Duty Manager to help lead the day-to-day operations of a busy Sports & Fitness Centre in the heart of Repton. Home to some larger scale sporting events and offering a wide range of facilities, this is a leisure job not to be missed.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing and motivating a small team (lifeguards, reception, café and cleaning staff)
• Ensuring the centre operates safely and efficiently, with a strong focus on health & safety including pool testing and risk assessments
• Delivering excellent customer service and being the go-to person during your shift
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth experience for members, students and the community

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years’ operational experience, including at least 2 years in management
• Strong people and communication skills – approachable, calm under pressure and proactive
• A hands-on leader who sets high standards and leads by example
• Pool Plant Operator and National Pool Lifeguard qualifications (or willingness to achieve)
