Contract Fitness Manager – St Albans Area

Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 plus bonus scheme and benefits

We are seeking an ambitious and self-motivated Contract Fitness Manager to lead fitness operations across a group of centres in the St Albans area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader to inspire teams, deliver a world-class member experience, and drive the fitness strategy forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate and develop fitness teams to achieve agreed targets.
• Oversee the delivery of personal training, group exercise sessions and meaningful gym floor engagement.
• Implement a clear retention strategy and set performance targets.
• Act as a role model within the centres, creating a fun, supportive and professional environment.
• Manage accounts and supervise staff across multiple sites.

Requirements:

• Minimum Level 3 fitness qualification.
• Proven experience in managing teams within a fitness or leisure environment.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends.
