I am recruiting for an exciting leisure job in Crawley, this will be a brand new opening - so a really exciting project to develop and mould a team from scratch. This is a great opportunity to work for a leisure operator with some great expansion plans over the next 2-3 years. This is a leisure job not to be missed!
As a General Manager, you will have overall responsibility of the site and will be expected to be a natural leader. You will be managing 3 Assistant managers and will have overall responsibility for the site’s operations and commercial performance. You will have a natural passion for customer service and health and safety.
We are ideally looking for a General Manager with significant experience of managing health club, a leisure or hospitality venue, which is multi faceted. You will need to be commercially strong and a natural leader. You will need to work with a smile on your face and help the team to provide an unforgettable experience to each and every customer. We want someone who leads from the front and isn't afraid to get stuck in to help the teams across all departments. The site is due to open in October so we are ideally looking to speak to candidates with experience of new openings.
You will have a vibrant and driven personality, leading your team to be the best they can be and provide a proactive and fun environment for everyone who visits the centre. You will be managing a large leadership team as well as a wide range of front line service staff. It would also be an advantage to know the area and marketplace well as the General Manager will be required to build community and corporate links as part of their role.

What do we need from you?
- At least 4 years’ senior management experience within the Leisure/Hospitality Industry
- The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Enthusiastic and proactive – you must be able to think on your feet
- The ability to lead, manage and motivate a team

- Approachable by customers and your team
