Sales Manager for BRAND NEW CLUB 

£30K -£32K + uncapped bonus ( realistic OTE £40K)

We are excited to recruiting for a passionate sales manager for this brand new club in Hackney Downs.  With over 32,000 residents within 1 km and minimal direct competition, this is a rare opportunity to lead sales for a premium, high-growth club.

About the Role

As Sales Manager, you’ll own the full sales and membership journey – from initial enquiry through to join and early-stage retention. You’ll manage daily lead flow, drive conversions, reduce arrears, and work closely with our marketing agency and club leadership to deliver consistent growth.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who loves targets, thrives on people interaction and wants real influence over a growing business.

Main Responsibilities

• Convert warm leads into committed members through professional tours, calls and follow-ups.
• Own daily ClubWise call lists and sales pipeline management.
• Proactively manage arrears, renewals and cancellations to protect monthly revenue.
• Deliver first-week and first-month follow-ups to improve retention.
• Partner with our marketing agency to align campaigns with in-club activity.
• Support local events and community outreach to drive awareness.
• Report weekly on leads, joins and retention KPIs.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure a seamless member experience.

About You

• Proven track record in sales (gym, fitness, hospitality or service sector).
• Confident closer with a consultative, customer-first approach.
• Organised, self-motivated and comfortable working to targets.
• Experience managing arrears or renewals is a bonus.
• Strong communication skills and positive, energetic presence.
• Enjoys working with marketing teams and contributing creative ideas.
