Play Team Manager – Luxury Private Family Members Club
Chelsea / Battersea, SW1W 8DP
£40,000–£45,000
5-day week (Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday)
Step into the world of luxury family fun!
We’re delighted to partner with one of London’s most exclusive private family members clubs — a beautifully designed venue for families with children up to age 12. From swimming to art and cooking, music, sports, and birthday parties, this is where magical moments happen every day. There’s even an on-site restaurant where families can unwind together.
Play isn’t just part of their world — it is their world. And due to an internal promotion, they’re looking for a new Play Team Manager.
As the Play Team Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of the club — leading a talented team of full-time Play Ambassadors who bring joy, creativity, and energy to every session. You’ll inspire your team to deliver unforgettable experiences, creating a safe and inspiring environment for children and adults alike.
The venue operates from 9am to 7pm 7 days a week and rotas and schedules are created on a week-to-week basis based on the needs of the business, therefore, some flexibility will be required.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a passionate Play Team
- Bring fresh ideas to life — crafting imaginative activities and play adventures
- Lead on safeguarding for the club, training team members both within the Play team and across other departments
- Manage resources, suppliers, and equipment to keep the fun flowing smoothly
- Manage the supplier list and stock for toys, equipment and resources
- Be the go-to contact for parents, building trusted relationships
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver a seamless family experience
What You'll Bring:
- At least 1–2+ years’ leadership experience in a dynamic, guest-focused environment — e.g. premium hotels, holiday clubs, high-end play spaces, or theme parks
- A genuine passion for children’s play and creative engagement
- Natural leadership, energy, and positivity that inspires your team and guests
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Warmth, empathy, and a commitment to excellence
- Fluent spoken and written English
This is a rare chance to combine luxury hospitality with the joy of play — all in one of London’s most iconic family clubs.
