We are thrilled to announce the opening of a brand-new, premium independent wellness club in Maidstone — launching June 2026. This will be a truly stunning destination combining movement, recovery, community and relaxation under one roof. Now, we’re searching for an exceptional General Manager to bring it to life.
About the Club
Our state-of-the-art wellness space will include:
A beautiful indoor pool and thermal spa facilities
Dedicated reformer Pilates studio
Padel courts and performance-led fitness spaces
A vibrant lounge and co-working area serving freshly prepared, nutritious food
A curated programme of classes, events and member experiences
Designed to feel exclusive yet welcoming, the club will set a new benchmark for premium wellness in the region.
The Role
As General Manager, you will be the driving force behind the club’s culture, performance and operational excellence. You will be responsible for leading a passionate team, delivering an exceptional member experience and ensuring the commercial success of the club.
We are seeking a leader who:
Leads from the front—energising and inspiring the team every day
Has a strong understanding of sales processes, membership acquisition and retention
Can confidently drive secondary spend across spa, retail, food & beverage and programming
Brings experience from a premium private members’ club, boutique fitness or luxury hospitality environment
Thrives in a high-expectation, service-led atmosphere
Is passionate about wellness, people and building a true community
This is an opportunity to shape the club’s identity from pre-opening through launch and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all daily operations to the highest standards
Recruit, coach and develop a high-performing team
Drive membership growth, engagement and retention
Manage financial performance, budgets and KPIs
Ensure health & safety, compliance and quality excellence
Create unforgettable experiences that keep members coming back
Work collaboratively with owners on strategic development
What We’re Looking For
Proven management experience in a premium wellness, fitness, private members or hospitality environment
A commercially minded leader with strong sales instincts
Exceptional communication and people management skills
Detail-orientated, organised and relentlessly service-focused
A passion for wellbeing and delivering standout member experiences
