Our Story

The Idea

In 2015, two fitness enthusiasts from London took a walk and had an epiphany.

There were so many recruitment companies - but why did they all tend to share the same processes and machine like feel? What if they created something that made recruitment feel... like more than just recruitment? What if it wasn't just about providing a service, but it was about providing the best service with an equally excellent delivery.

Those two fitness fanatics were our founders Lawrence and Abhi. This is the Love Recruitment story.

Just going for it.

The idea was there. Now it was time for execution. So, Lawrence and Abhi got to work. First things first: they needed a name.

Naturally, Lawrence and Abhi wanted to create a company where everybody genuinely loved recruitment. Yes, genuinely. They wanted clients to fall in love with our recruitment process, they wanted candidates to love their job hunt with our help, they wanted anybody who worked with us to have a genuine love for what we do.

Thus, "Love Recruitment" came to be.

The growth.

As days, weeks, months, and years went on, Love Recruitment continued to grow.

People saw the vision and recognised the importance of bringing, for lack of a better term, "good vibes" to recruitment.

But beyond that, Love Recruitment truly developed into a magical team of expert recruiters. Not just any recruiters. Recruiters who knew exactly what it was like to work in the fitness and leisure industry. The message has always remained the same - let's find great people great jobs. We quickly realised that the best people to do that were those who understood the individual needs of candidates and clients and have been on the other side of the recruitment process themselves.

The new kid on the block.

Fast forward to 2021 and we had exciting news.

There was about to be a second addition to the Love Recruitment Group. Love Care Recruitment was founded and the fantastic Tom moved over to the position of Managing Director at our exciting new sister company!

Just a couple of years on, Love Care had already began to have its own incredibly story and journey.

Here we are.

So, that bring us to today.

We're a team of 14 passionate recruiters and work with some of the best, most exciting companies in the UK to find great talent who fit into their establishments like a missing puzzle piece.
